Milestone ARchives
Unfortunately, only 2% of superheroes in comics are of a diverse ethnic background. So Ally teamed up with DC Comics and Milestone Media, a comic book series of diverse superheroes, and created a multi-level AR showroom on Snapchat to celebrate Milestone’s superheroes. Each level is dedicated to a different character of the Milestone comic series, as well as having interactive games and snap chat filters.
We then launched it at SXSW and invited audiences to try our AR experience IRL.
The result? We put black and diverse superheroes at the center of comic book culture.
